 A valuable but often overlooked technique for promoting a website is article marketing. Use of this technique can drastically increase the number of visits a website receives. Another good thing about article marketing is fact that it is free.

Fundraising for charity can be both challenging and rewarding. The methods described here were used by my partner and I to raise in excess of £2,700 for an animal charity.

I've recently started a poker group at our local pub and have been very impressed by both the amount of interested people and how well the nights have gone.
 
As such we are looking for other pubs/clubs who would be interested in running the same format and forming an inter-pub League in the Newtown (POWYS) area.
 
The format we play works extremely well, we play a match once a month on a Wednesday night starting at 8pm and always finish by 11pm. With a maximum of 16 players (2 tables) and 1 referee.

It was 1975 when I first encountered the Appalachian Dulcimer AKA Mountain Dulcimer. One day, while  living, with my young family, in Anglesey, North Wales, a book on Crafts arrived through the post from Time & Life. The book was part of a series that we were subscribing to, and we would receive a book every two months.

As a Trini coming to the UK to finish schooling and going on to find the knowledge not found in College and embracing all the sounds coming out of the 60's and getting reacquainted with the indigenious music of the Caribean especially Trinidad & Tobago .
Basically I would like to share the sounds , art and culture along with info about other Caribbean artist who have gone on to make a name on both the International and UK music scene .

On Saturday March the 21st, the Oswestry & District Province of the RAOB, held a Presentation evening at the Abermule Hotel, Abermule, Powys.
The presentation was for monies raised by there retiring Provincial Grand Primo for 2008, Bro: Barry Davies, KOM
During his year in Office as PGP, Barry raised £7,500.00 for the Respiratory Resource Centre, which holds clinics throughout Powys and Shropshire.

 
 

I have never been one to delve into politics but as the recent events with banks etc have developed I feel myself drawn into the poliical arena as a concerned citizen of third world Britain.
We have seen senior bank officers before Commons Committees declaring that they had no formal bank qualifications and that they were just "chancers". These chancers have not been fired for incompetence but have walked out with major payouts and pensions using taxpayers money.
